Dr. Tamara Krimm is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is board certified in the practice of Pediatrics. She graduated, Doctor of Medicine from the University of California Medical School at San Diego in June 1998, and served her pediatric residency from 1998 to 2001 at Cook County Children’s Hospital Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Krimm is a Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics, University of Washington School of Medicine.
The goal of The Practice is to provide affordable primary pediatric care to children and adolescents, promoting healthy lifestyle habits and practices. She has achieved a reputation in the community as a competent and caring Pediatrician.
Desiree Cook, CPNP-PC is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Desiree and her family are recent arrivals in Alaska, when her husband was posted to JBER. We hope you’ll be as happy as we are that Desiree has joined us. Originally from southeast Indiana, and living in Tennessee; Desiree earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State/Murfreesboro. She worked as a nursing supervisor at National Healthcare, and as a cardio-thoracic surgery nurse at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Since arriving in Alaska, Desiree has worked at Veterans Affairs and with the Alaska Native Medical Center as a clinical case manager. After earning Masters of Science in Nursing; Desiree completed her requirements to practice as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in October of 2017.
